Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:

  2. Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.

Our early roots in the community took hold in 1994 when several LGBTQ community organizations in the City of Boulder collaborated on a series of events to celebrate Gay Pride. This collective was called Boulder Pride. As the LGBTQ community grew, the need for the organization to broaden its purpose grew, as well. Boulder Pride After becoming a state tax-exempt organization in 1998, Boulder Pride received a grant to secure a community center and offer services to the LGBTQ community of Boulder County. The "Pridehouse," opened its doors officially in 2004 and began offering programming to LGBTQ people in Boulder County.

Out Boulder County works independently and in collaboration, we facilitate connection, advocacy, education, research and programs to ensure LGBTQ+ people and communities thrive in Boulder County and beyond. They envision a world where LGBTQ+ people and communities thrive in an inclusive, equitable, just and connected world. During this one time project, volunteers will be introduced to Out Boulder's office and will support tasks around the office including data entry, small projects around the house, and greeting walk-in guests. Volunteers will also help with active outreach in the neighborhood passing out fliers to promote Out Boulder's vaccine clinic.

Participants will travel as a group to the location.
