CU in the Community Volunteer Projects Fall 2023!

Description: Volunteers will work to beautify the center's grounds and help maintain a safe space for the wild patients in our care. Volunteers will NOT work directly with the animals but will play a crucial part in supporting efforts to protect local wildlife at Colorado's largest wildlife rehabilitation center. Join us on this exciting experience helping Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center get its outdoor enclosures ready for the busy season or the winter. The project will include cleaning animal condos, setting-up enrichment, and completing other yard work to help their staff!

Requirements: Volunteer work is mostly outside; it requires gloves, long pants, closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, proper clothing depending on the weather, and is physical. Each participating individual needs to be over 18 years of age and must sign a liability waiver.
